Pectin is an ideal substitute for gelatin. The product is vegetarian and of natural origin. Perfect for making homemade preserves such as jams, preserves and jellies. Also great for cakes and as a substitute for gelatin in recipes.
INGREDIENTS
Citrus-apple amidated pectin, sucrose.
APPLICATION
Recipe for low-sugar jam 2 kg of any fruit and 1 kg of sugar. Pour 100ml of water into 2kg of selected fruit and boil. Mix 30 g of pectin with 1 glass of sugar. Pour into boiling fruit. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour in the remaining amount of sugar and cook until completely dissolved. Add lemon juice or a teaspoon of citric acid to some hot water. Mix thoroughly. Pour hot jam into jars and pasteurize for 20 minutes. By using juice instead of fruit, you get delicious jelly.
