DESCRIPTION
Organic kidney beans (kidney beans) are classified as legumes. The beans get their name from the kidney shape of the seeds. It is an excellent source of fiber and plant-based protein. Recommended for soups and stews, eg chilli con carne, and as an ingredient in salads, cold and warm, and mixed in pastes and pies.
PREPARATION
Beans that have been soaked and rinsed for at least 12 hours should be boiled in fresh, unsalted water for about 60 minutes. Only salt the beans at the end of the cooking process.
