High Quality Refined Coconut Oil is produced by exposure to high temperature and pressure, so it does not have a distinctive aroma. However, the process increases the life of the oil and its smoke point (the point at which the fat is broken down into free fatty acids and glycerol). Thanks to this, refined coconut oil is considered one of the best frying and processing fats at high temperatures and at the same time does not completely spoil the taste or aroma of the prepared dish. Organic coconut oil only reaches its smoke point at 204 °C, which means that frying with it is considered to be significantly healthier than using sunflower or rapeseed oil. Organic Coconut Oil is made from the highest quality copra - that is, the flesh of cut coconuts that is dried naturally in the sun or over the stove. Importantly, however, the refining process does not destroy MCT's medium-chain fatty acids, which are associated with metabolism-supporting activity and may have a positive impact on lowering harmful blood cholesterol levels.
