NATURE WELCOME COMFORT ROOT 50G
Comfrey root contains allantoin, tannins, mucilage, polyphenols, starch and many other substances. Allantoin is a substance that supports tissue regeneration (accelerates wound healing). The effect is enhanced by chlorogenic acid, which has a prophylactic effect and prevents the occurrence of infections. Due to these ingredients, the comfrey root contributes to the regeneration of body tissue (ulcers and burns). It has astringent properties, soothes skin irritations, eczema, decubitus, frostbite and sunburn, as well as scars. In most cases, it is used externally to make ointments and decoctions. The active ingredients contained in the comfrey root have an anti-inflammatory effect, relieve toothache and help prevent periodontitis. Traditional herbal medicine says that comfrey baths are effective in treating rheumatic pains, varicose veins, ulcers and eczema. Comfrey roots are used to compress painful joints.
