- recommended for teas, drinks and cocktails
- reminiscent of lemon peel
Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis, known as Buddha's Hand, is a cultivar of lemon grown primarily in China but also in other regions of Asia and the southern United States. The fruit is characterized by long, finger-like growths, which are also the source of its common name. This plant has an extremely rich aroma reminiscent of bergamot, jasmine or lavender.
Buddha's hand is used as an accompaniment to both salty and sweet dishes. Unlike other citrus fruits, its lemon peel-like flavor is devoid of bitterness. It goes perfectly with refreshing desserts, giving them a unique character. Recommended for teas, drinks and cocktails.
