APPLICATION
The main industrial USES of borax are the manufacture of glass, glazes, ceramics and glass wool. It is also used to make sodium perborate (NaBO3), which is used as a bleaching agent, primarily in Europe. It is used in households as a cleaning agent and deodorant.
