Elutherococcus root - its name appears in one of the first places in the register of Chinese medicinal plants. Common names: Siberian ginseng, Siberian ginseng, or eleuthero ginseng. It is adaptogenic, ie it increases resistance to adverse environmental factors (increases the organism's tolerance to these factors), strengthens the organism's adaptive properties to the environment.
Eleuterokokkus supports learning and memory processes. Eleuthero ginseng
is rich in phytosterols, which are a lipotropic factor that regulates fat metabolism.
Eleutherococca extracts are added to cosmetics to increase the skin's resistance to infection (immune stimulation) and to activate the skin's adaptogenic and anti-stress abilities. Eleuthero's estrogenic activity undoubtedly improves the condition and appearance of the skin and blocks the harmful effects of androgens on the skin and hair. It increases the suppleness, elasticity and moisture of the skin. It reduces the symptoms of androgenic acne and stress (including neurogenic acne). It prevents hair loss (antiandrogenic effect on the skin).
Eleutherococcus is beneficial for physical performance and mental health, with fatigue, intense mental and physical work.
Eleutherococcus is found in Asia, mainly in the north-eastern part. It is grown on an industrial scale in China and Russia. The roots contain 0.6-0.9% eleuteroside and the shoots 0.6-1.5%. Eleuterozd A is a sterol - daucosterol.
Eleuteroside B is a phenylpropanoid Syringina. Eleuteroside B1 is an isofraxidin glycoside (isofraxidin-7-O-alpha-L-glucoside), also called beta-calicanthoside (beta-calicanthoside); Eleuteroside B2 is naturally coumarin;
eleuterosides B4 - (-) sesamine (sesamin); Eleuteroside D is a syringaresinol glycoside ((-)-syringaresinol-di-O-beta-D-glucoside); Eleuteroside E, also called acanthoside D, has the character of a lignan. Eleuteroside IM are saponins and triterpenes: eleuteroside I is musenin B (musenin B); Eleuteroside M is hederasaponin. AF senticosides are derivatives of oleanolic acid. Raw material - contains caffeic acid, caffeic acid ethyl ester, coniferyl aldehyde, sinapil alcohol, beta-sitosterol, beta-carotene, vitamin E (tocopherols), sugars (galactose, arabinose, beta-maltose, alpha- and beta-glucose, sucrose). Compounds called eleutherans (eleutherans; not to be confused with eleuterosides) include polysaccharides
