Organic unroasted buckwheat is most commonly used as a dinner ingredient in combination with vegetables or stews and as an addition to soups, stews and pies. Due to the high carbohydrate and fiber content, unroasted buckwheat is very filling. After harvesting, it does not undergo any heat treatment, so it provides a larger amount of nutrients compared to roasted groats. It also has a much smoother taste. Finding a USE for unroasted buckwheat is not a problem even for a layman. It can be served with sauces, vegetables or as an element of stews and soup additives. Tastes great with meat, mushrooms and fish. Unroasted buckwheat in a five-kilogram pack is an economical choice because you can use the groats over a longer period of time. Polish-grown buckwheat also has a BIO certificate confirming its organic origin.
Before eating, boil buckwheat in salted water in a ratio of 1 part water to 2 parts groats. You should let the grits simmer for about 20 minutes.
