DESCRIPTION
The product contains a mixture of tocopherols. In addition to the natural oily form of D-alpha tocoderol, which has 100% of the biological activity of natural vitamin E, there is also a naturally occurring blend of tocopherols. Vitamin E is the term used to refer to eight different compounds that fall into two categories: tocopherols and tocotrienols. Each category is further divided into Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin found only in plants and its natural source is wheat germ oil, whole grains and leafy green vegetables. Humans and animals cannot synthesize vitamin E, so it must be obtained from the diet. The term "vitamin E" is only used in the case of alpha-tocopherol, but tocopherols and tocotrienols have beneficial properties. The D-Alpha-Tocopheryl contained in the product has 100 percent of the biological activity of natural vitamin E.
First of all, vitamin E is one of the most important natural antioxidants (fights free radicals and protects the body from their harmful effects). This vitamin "catches" free radicals and converts them into harmless substances that are later eliminated from the body. It protects polyunsaturated acids (omega-3 and omega-6) from oxidation - after oxidation, fatty acids are no longer polyunsaturated.
