Macadamia nuts are very hard-shelled and are grown in Australia, Hawaii and South Africa.
They have the highest fat content and are quite caloric too (100 grams equals 700 calories). It contains mainly unsaturated fatty acids with many valuable healing properties. In addition, macadamia nuts are a rich source of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and phosphorus, as well as vitamin E and B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6).
Macadamia nuts are used in the kitchen, mainly as an ingredient in cakes and creams, but also in muesli, porridge and salads. They are perfect as a healthy snack.
