goals sw. Damiana is a raw material obtained from a small shrub called Turner. Damian leaf has properties that improve mood, relieve cough and are diuretic. Damiana or Turnera diffusa Willd. Ex Shult. Damiana owes its properties to numerous biologically active substances contained in it. The leaves of this plant contain: flavonoids, carbohydrates, including glucose, rhamnose, fructose, sucrose, steroids, squalene, pyrone, tetrafillin B, arbutin, tannins, vitamin C, elements such as magnesium, copper, iron, zinc, saponins, proteins, essential oil containing compounds such as thymol. Damian leaf has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Caffeine is also found in the leaf extract.
Damian Leaf may have antibacterial effects. The apigenin found in the alcoholic leaf extracts of this plant can have a calming effect. Damiana herb has antioxidant properties due to phenolic compounds. Some of the substances it contains, such as quercetin, have an equally strong antioxidant effect. Perhaps they also slow down the aging processes of cells. Often use this plant as an ingredient in dietary supplements that speed up the weight loss process. It is also worth mentioning that the infusion of dried damian leaves helps with digestion problems caused by heavy, greasy food.
INGREDIENTS
Dried and cut Damian leaves (Turnera diffusa).
APPLICATION
Pour 2 teaspoons of leaves while boiling, cover and leave to stand for 3 minutes. Drain before eating. It is recommended to consume the prepared infusion 2-3 times a day.
