The real oyster mushroom, also called king oyster mushroom, steppe oyster mushroom or Nicholas oyster mushroom (Pleurotus eryngii (DC.) Quél), is an edible mushroom that is cultivated in many European and Asian countries. They differ from their relatives in the oyster mushroom family by having a larger fruiting body.
King oyster mushrooms are valued for their flavor and health benefits. They can boast, among other things, the content of proteins with exogenous amino acids that our body cannot produce itself, and B vitamins, which can support the immune system and strengthen blood vessels.
In terms of taste, oyster mushrooms are compared to porcini mushrooms. These delicate, exotic mushrooms are perfect as an accompaniment to sauces, scrambled eggs and casseroles. They are also an excellent meat substitute in a vegetarian diet.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store the goods refrigerated.
For the packaging of our products we use a special film that allows live vegetables to breathe. It's a sheet that directs carbon dioxide and water produced by the respiration of live vegetables and fruits to one side. As a result, no water condenses on the film and the packaged vegetables and fruit last longer.
