DESCRIPTION
Bitter melon (Momordica charantia) is a plant that is mainly grown in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and has been used in Ayurveda for centuries.
As the name suggests, this fruit is bitter, which is why it is rarely eaten separately, raw. It resembles the shape of a cucumber, which is why the Polish name of this plant is broken cucumber.
