Barberry is found in wild parts of Europe, growing mainly in Scandinavia and the British Isles, and is rare and scattered in southern and central Germany.
Barberry is known for its saponins, which aid in the digestive system and have diuretic properties. It also contains organic acids, pectin, and vitamins C and E, which act as antioxidants. The high content of vitamin C in its composition led to the fact that this plant was called the Polish lemon. Barberry improves digestion, supports immunity and has antibacterial properties. It also serves as a support for the liver. It also has a calming effect and increases stress resistance.
Barberry is not recommended for pregnant women and young children.
INGREDIENTS
100% barberry root bark.
APPLICATION
Add a teaspoon of dried fruit to a liter of cold water and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, then strain. Drink 3-4 times a day between meals.
