Red cabbage does not contain vinegar. There are raisins in it to diversify the flavor note. It goes perfectly with the lard, its aroma is enhanced by a glass of red wine, chestnuts or grated peel of orange or lemon. It's a delicious accent that accentuates roast goose and duck dishes.
