Cumin in grains is widely used in our everyday cooking. We can easily use it in the PREPARATION of meat, fish and vegetable dishes. Cumin is perfect for sauces, vegetable pies and casseroles. It is also commonly used in the production of (mostly processed) cheese. It is important to know that on the basis of cumin you can prepare a tasty tea with relaxing properties. Nevertheless, cumin is not only widely used in the kitchen, but also in the cosmetics industry. This plant is used to make disinfectant soaps, moisturizers, toothpaste and even perfumes, among other things.
In the kitchen:
• Cumin is used in greasy and hard-to-digest dishes. It is added to cabbage, red meat, salads, beetroot, bread, soups and fried dishes.
• Cumin is a popular spice used in Polish cuisine and added to sweet baked goods.
