Chamomile is one of the most popular plants in Poland. The name Chamomilla derives from the Greek words chamos and melos, meaning "earthy apple" due to the smell. It grows throughout the country and is commonly used in herbal medicine and cosmetics. Small white and yellow chamomile flowers are characteristic of this plant, and the dried punnets are herbal material. Chamomile has many valuable properties that have a beneficial effect on health and care for the skin and hair.
Chamomile is an edible flower that can be used for culinary experiments and to decorate dishes. So, we can add chamomile to soups, salads or jellies, and a cake decorated with white and yellow baskets can be the biggest attraction for guests.
