Coniferous honey is considered one of the most effective in the action of honey varieties. It contains essential amino acids and enzymes as well as an abundance of micro and macro elements. Good quality coniferous honeys are nutritious honeys that are especially recommended during periods of seasonal weakening of immunity. Honeydew honey can be used in cooking as a substitute for white sugar. It is less sweet than nectar honey. However, in order to fully preserve its valuable properties, honey should not be added to hot drinks or dishes. It is safest to heat the honey at a temperature below 45ºC. Honey is best dissolved in cool drinks and consumed without heat treatment.
