A blend of quinoa, unroasted buckwheat, millet, mixed vegetables, porcini mushrooms, garlic, onion and parsley. Perfect as a quick dinner idea.
Quiona, also known as quinoa, has many nutritional and health benefits. It's a source of wholesome protein, healthy fatty acids, and lots of vitamins and minerals. It also contains saponins, thanks to which it can show antiallergic and anti-inflammatory effects. Quinoa protein, as one of the few plant proteins, contains all exogenous amino acids, i.e. those that are not synthesized in the body and must be supplied with food.
Buckwheat is a great source of protein, containing 10 to 16 percent. It is a protein that is more digestible than that found in cereals, it has a value similar to that of legume protein. Buckwheat is rich in unique exogenous amino acids—most notably lysine, which the body cannot produce itself and should be obtained from the diet. Lysine is essential, among other things, it helps build proteins, especially in muscles and bones.
Millet is easily digestible and contains no gluten. It is low in starch and high in digestible protein. In addition, it is a source of B vitamins: B1, B2, B6 and minerals: copper, iron, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and potassium. Both millet and buckwheat have an alkaline effect. They play an important role in restoring the acid-base balance in the body. Millet should therefore be included in the alkaline diet.
