DESCRIPTION
Organic white-skinned sesame seeds, when roasted, can be a tasty addition to salads, breads and various dishes. It can be used to PREPARE tahini at home - sesame paste, a great alternative to butter or margarine. We also recommend ground as a topping for groats, rice, soups or steamed vegetables. Sesame seeds should be ground just before consumption. Soaking sesame seeds beforehand improves digestibility. Sesame seeds contain high levels of omega-3-6-9 acids, which help maintain a healthy circulatory system and healthy blood cholesterol levels. Sesame seeds are also a rich source of calcium, which helps maintain proper bone mineralization and protects teeth from tooth decay.
