Like other vegetables, radishes contain a lot of water and few calories (a piece has only 3 kcal). They are characterized by a high content of antioxidants, which support the body in the fight to maintain health and beauty. Apart from that, they are an excellent source of vitamin C.
Radishes are a great addition to sandwiches and salads. They can also be marinated like cucumbers or made into a delicious dip.
