Amaranth, also known as amaranth, is one of the oldest plants in the world. Known to the indigenous peoples of North America long before the arrival of Christopher Columbus, amaranth is a grain with exceptional nutritional and health properties. Among other things, amaranth seeds are a source of easily digestible protein, the basic building block of muscles and tissues, responsible for transmitting potassium nerve impulses and B vitamins, which support the nervous system - as well as fiber, which supports the digestive system. Amaranth groats are recommended as an accompaniment to evening meals, salads, soups and casseroles. Also goes well with yoghurt and muesli.
