Camu camu grow in the Amazon rainforests of Brazil and Peru. Thanks to their reddish-purple color, they somewhat resemble cherries, although their size is that of a ripe lemon. They are extremely sour in taste, but very valuable.
Acai grows on palm trees that bear lush fruit in grape-like clusters beneath broad leaves. Each fruit has a large stone, about 70% by weight, which is removed before consumption. Thanks to active biological compounds, it has great antioxidant potential and is beneficial in preventing diseases of civilization, including cardiovascular diseases.
acerola is native to the Caribbean and Central America, but is now also grown in the United States, Australia and South America. Acerola contains the most vitamin C compared to other fruits.
Aronia is a shrub of the rose family that has long been known to have been grown for both ornamental and food purposes. It is considered one of the healthiest fruits in the world due to its high levels of antioxidants and vitamins, including vitamin C. Small, dark, almost black fruits are used to make juices, wines and jams.
Rose hips are extremely valuable due to their high vitamin C content which supports the proper functioning of the immune system and protects cells from oxidative stress. In addition, vitamin C maintains the proper functioning of the nervous system and reduces the feeling of tiredness and exhaustion. Supports collagen production for the proper functioning of blood vessels, skin, cartilage and gums.
