DESCRIPTION
Evening primrose oil is obtained from the seeds of the evening primrose by cold pressing. It has a delicate taste and aroma. It can be used in the PREPARATION of salads and salads, as well as an accompaniment to meat and fish dishes served cold. Evening primrose oil is characterized by a high content of unsaturated fats, including polyunsaturated fats, which include omega-6 fatty acids. Omega-6 acids are: linoleic acid (LA) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) found in evening primrose oil. Linoleic acid helps maintain proper blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is achieved with an intake of 10 g LA per day. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet helps maintain proper cholesterol levels.
