- a source of complete protein
- from organic milk
- an excellent ingredient of Italian cuisine
Native to the Campania region of southern Italy, mozzarella is a pillow cheese known for its continuity after melting. Originally it was usually made from fresh buffalo milk, less often cow's milk or a mixture of milk from different origins, today the cow variety is more common, especially in Poland. Mozzarella is most often sold in the form of small, oval curds dipped in whey. Mozzarella cheese is a valuable source of vitamins - A, B, E, K and D - and minerals - calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, copper, selenium and zinc. Recommended for salads, breads and casseroles, it is a traditional ingredient in many Italian dishes, including lasagne, caprese salads, many types of pizza and pasta dishes. The product is made from organic goat's milk, without the addition of thickeners, preservatives and colorings.
