DESCRIPTION
Organic red lentils are brown lentils without the shell. By peeling the red lentils, the body absorbs them better. Red lentils tend to overcook, so they're best added to soups, stews, and hearty snacks.

PREPARATION TYPE
pre-rinsed lentils in a ratio of 1:2 (1 portion of lentils to 2 portions of water) approx. 25 minutes. Season with salt at the end of the cooking process.
