Monte Veronese is an Italian PDO cheese from the Veneto region of northern Italy. The place where the milk comes from is mainly alpine, rich in fertile pastures with a long tradition of cattle, milk and cheese production. Monte veronese D' allevo is made from semi-skimmed milk from cows that graze high in the mountains from May to October. Perfect for a cheese board. A source of healthy protein and calcium necessary for healthy teeth and bones. It goes well with bitter jams and a good glass of Bardolino . It also works as an addition to salads, bread, in a duet with pickled cucumbers, tomatoes and other vegetables.
