The oil is made from carefully selected, cold-pressed black cumin seeds of the highest quality from controlled organic cultivation. As a result, black cumin oil retains its properties. Its intensely spicy taste gives the dishes an extraordinary character. The oil is well suited as a spice for sauces, meat, salads and cold dishes. Black seed oil owes its properties mainly to the presence of unsaturated fatty acids: linoleic acid (omega-6), oleic acid (omega-9) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). In addition, the oil (traditionally known as the "gold of the pharaohs") is also rich in fat-soluble vitamins E and beta-carotene. It is characterized by the presence of valuable plant sterols, which help reduce the level of undesirable components in the blood. Black seed oil is mainly used in the kitchen, but you can also use it cosmetically. The content of numerous micro and macro elements as well as antioxidants is responsible for the positive effect of the oil on the skin - especially on acne-prone skin and dry scalp. Its soothing properties are primarily demonstrated by the thymoquinone (a component of essential oils) contained in black cumin.
