Pie baked with vegetables is a unique product on the food market. It is characterized not only by its excellent taste and aroma, but above all by its simple composition. As a result, the vegan pâté from the VIVIO brand guarantees us a unique taste experience as well as health and well-being.
The base of this pie is cooked chickpeas, a plant of the legume family. Chickpeas are a well-known product in vegan and vegetarian cuisine. It has an off-white color and a small, round shape and can primarily remind us of pea seeds. Interestingly, chickpeas are also often called garbanzo beans. This tasty legume is native to the western Asia region. Despite this, chickpeas are now grown all over the world, including Poland. It is worth knowing that chickpeas are not only valuable for their excellent taste, but above all for their exceptional nutrients, vitamins and minerals. This legume is an excellent source of protein, unsaturated fatty acids and carbohydrates. In addition, we can find essential vitamins such as: vitamin A, vitamins from the B group (including folic acid) , vitamins C, E and K. In addition, small seeded chickpeas contain a whole range of valuable minerals, among which stand out: zinc, phosphorus, manganese , magnesium, potassium, sodium, copper, calcium and iron.
Roasted vegetable pie isn't just chickpeas, though. Rich in essential oils and fibre, it contains baked celery and white onions full of vitamin C. This unusual mixture is also enriched in taste by sweet, baked carrots, which are also responsible for the beautiful, slightly orange color of the vegan VIVIO pate. Additionally, this product contains roasted parsley, rapeseed oil and garlic. In order to still achieve the perfect flavor composition, you cannot do without the choice of aromatic and healthy spices. Therefore, the roasted vegetable pie was enriched with apple cider vinegar, sea salt, curry powder, pepper and dried ginger, which is responsible for the slightly spicy taste of this pie. Most importantly, this VIVIO product does not contain any additional flavor enhancers and preservatives that are harmful to health. Therefore, we can confidently include the fried vegetable pie in a balanced menu.
