The set includes suribachi and surikogi.
Suribachi literally means "grinding bowl", which is not only used in Asian cuisine for chopping and preparing mixtures of aromatic herbs and seeds. It has a traditional Japanese shape and an unglazed, ribbed interior, which increases efficiency when wiping spices. Outside brown, glazed ceramic.
