Milk thistle oil is a golden, light-colored fat pressed from the seeds of milk thistle (Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertner), a species of the Asteraceae family known since ancient times and valued for a number of health-promoting properties. Milk thistle is native to the Mediterranean region but has spread to many parts of the world; it is grown in Poland.
Milk thistle oil is real liquid gold, and not just because of its colour. This unique, vegetable fat has a regenerating effect, improves concentration and memory, supports the liver and fights free radicals, and can also increase and strengthen the body's defenses, so it is worth using it preventively. Milk thistle oil provides essential vitamins - E, K, C - and minerals - magnesium, potassium and calcium.
Milk thistle oil from Bio Planete has an extremely mild, pleasant, slightly nutty taste. It is perfect for salads, dressings and dips, yoghurts or smoothies. To prevent the loss of valuable nutrients, it should only be eaten cold.
Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of 25 ml milk thistle oil.
