Kaolin or white clay is a product extracted from sedimentary rock. It is its fragmented form containing kaolinite, quartz, mica, and minerals, primarily silicon and aluminum. It was first mined in the city of Gaoling and used to make porcelain. For this reason, it is often referred to as china clay. Another name you may encounter is kaolinite.
This clay can be used externally for skin and hair care, but also for food purposes as a colon cleansing preparation.
This clay is a very delicate product with a pH of 5 suitable for our skin. Because of this, it can be used on all skin types. It's even used as an ingredient in baby powder.
