DESCRIPTION

ALA is a fatty acid compound that occurs naturally in the human body in the mitochondria and is involved in energy metabolism. ALA exists in the form of two isomers, S-ALA (which is chemically synthesized) and R-ALA, which is produced by the body. The traditional chemical synthesis of alpha lipoic acid produces a mixture of these two isomers. ALA is a powerful antioxidant that is soluble in both water and fat, therefore it neutralizes both water and fat soluble free radicals. ALA significantly affects the renewal of other antioxidants - vitamin C, glutathione, coenzyme Q10 and indirectly vitamin E. Alpha lipoic acid supplementation shows benefits in various oxidative stress situations and in various oxidative stress situations. INGREDIENTS
