Cream is a dairy product made from heavy cream (also known as sweet cream), the top layer of centrifuged whole milk. Lactose is a naturally occurring sugar in cow's milk (and not only). Despite being an organic substance, not everyone responds well to it, which is why it has been removed from our product. The cleaning process consists of adding the enzyme lactase to the milk, which, so to speak, first breaks down lactose into glucose and galactose for us. Lactose-free products can have a slightly sweeter taste than their counterparts.
