Clarified butter owes its properties to its PREPARATION . The ghee is refined through the slow heating process of the fat. A white foam, made up of proteins and solids left over from the milk, forms on the surface of the melted butter. Traditionally, all the water is evaporated from the fat to make ghee. The resulting butter is naturally preserved: it does not go rancid, it keeps well at high temperatures and can be used for frying.
Ghee butter is golden in color and has a slightly nutty flavor. Thanks to this, it is excellent as a seasoning and fat for frying. Butter can be used for bread, but also for baking, braising and frying fillings, donuts or fries. It can also be added to soups, pasta, grits, vegetables or fish. Ghee butter can also be used to PREPARE the so-called bulletproof coffee.
