The raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.) belongs to the rose family. It occurs both wildly and is eagerly cultivated for succulent, sweet with a tart fruit note with a rich, mysterious aroma and an array of health-promoting properties.
Raspberries are characterized by a high content of salicylic and ellagic acids with a strong anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, these small, dark pink fruits are rich in vitamins - A, from groups B, C, E - minerals - magnesium, manganese, selenium, potassium, zinc, iron, calcium and copper - essential oils, fiber, carotenoids, pectins and tocopherols.
