Milk thistle - a plant species from the daisy family.
It comes from the Mediterranean region: Southern and Southeastern Europe, North Africa, Western Asia and some parts of Central Asia (India, Pakistan). As an introduced species, it has spread to many parts of the world. Today it grows in the wild in addition to its original range in other parts of Africa and Europe, Australia, New Zealand, North and South America.
