Beta carotene is an antioxidant that is a natural source of vitamin A. Recommended in case of deficiency or increased need of the organism.

Belonging to the carotenoid family, beta-carotene is the most active provitamin of vitamin A.

Due to the fact that vitamin A belongs to the fat-soluble vitamins, it is recommended to take beta-carotene with meals containing fat.
